System Integration & Support

Integrating systems is a complicated, yet essential task. The evolution of technology has created more robust systems, but often resulted in cobbled together platforms that struggle to synch. Moving from mainframe to client/server to Web-based applications and databases requires integration.

DMS can help you integrate your disparate systems. Work with us to develop the best plan for migrating existing data. Our solutions cover:

  • Data integration
  • Extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from legacy systems
  • Systems development with SUN ONE, Windows, Linux, Apache and other operating systems

DMS deploys proven techniques to help you leverage your data. Let us help you integrate your enterprise systems, giving your team the data-driven tools they need to succeed.

IBM formally PricewaterhouseCoopers System Integration (PwC) - The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) handles foreign military sales for the DOD. As DSCA grew it added new systems, ending up with 13 disparate technical platforms all trying to work together. DSCA retained IBM as program manager to administer the development of a single integrated application to support all foreign military sales. IBM selected DMS to develop Web-based interfaces to client systems originally written in Forte.

Booz-Allen & Hamilton Electronic Invoice Processing System (EIPS) - DMS teamed with Booz to develop, implement and modify the Electronic Invoice Processing System (EIPS) for Booz-Allen & Hamilton's Accounts Payable Department which will enable the vendors to provide online electronic invoices to the firm. Using Cold Fusion and JavaScript, these tasks include creating user interfaces, developing administration and e-mail capability enhancements, generating customized invoice reports for various vendors and providing operational database support for the clients.

ExxonMobil - Like many Fortune 50 companies, ExxonMobil faces the daunting task of integrating globally distributed, heterogeneous systems. ExxonMobil's "Batch Group" handles the integration--receiving and transport--of disparate file server applications. To facilitate these integration efforts, ExxonMobil retained DMS to provide UNIX administration and support.
