U.S. Army Center of Military History (CMH) Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commemoration Web Site - DMS has been tasked by the U.S. Army to design and develop a website commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Construction of the website will follow approved Federal and CMH guidelines and adhere to Section 508 requirements. Creation of graphics, development of cascading style sheets, scanning of documentation and Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) formatting will be accomplished using software such as Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Adobe Photoshop, Scansoft Omnipage Pro and Macromedia Fireworks.
NAVSEA NBCS - NAVSEA requested DMS to provide technical support to extract and manipulate budget formulation data and management reports from existing Navy and NAVSEA FMIS systems, and modify and submit data updates to the Navy Comptroller and ultimately to the Congress of the United States. DMS will integrate or customize budget reporting into the existing FMIS system for NAVSEA. The update will allow the presentation and reuse of data already residing within various FMIS systems for producing reports, including data from FMPMIS in support of the FMP. The web-based application is supported with a relational database.
NAVSEA Professional Support Services (PSS) Utilization Tool - DMS has been tasked by the U.S. Navy to develop an Internet application to track resource utilization for the U.S. Navy. This tool was created using NMCI protocols and requirements to insure security over a wide area network. The application consists of ASP forms and reports with an Oracle 8i database driver.
National Institutes of Health - NIH is the world's premier medical and behavioral research organization. With a $15B research budget, NIH allocates millions in grants to universities and other research-driven organizations nationwide. To facilitate application processing and grant administration, NIH developed the Staff Electronic Council Book. DMS is working with NIH to develop and administer these Web-based, Cold Fusion applications, enabling staff to quickly glean and share summary statements of grants anytime, anywhere.
US Navy - PEOTSC (Program Executive Office for Theatre Surface Combatants), the ship procurement arm of the Navy, wanted a Web-based portal for its personnel to quickly find job-related information and budget time. BAE Systems retained DMS to help build the portal backend using ASP, Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), and SQL Server. Now thousands of Navy personnel use the portal for answers and information about building, maintaining, and managing our fleet of battleships.
U.S. Army National Guard - The Army National Guard needed a Web-based portal to support its primary mission of military readiness and rapid response. For this $18M program, the National Guard retained Booz•Allen & Hamilton (BAH), a global leader in strategy and technology consulting, to manage the program, which in turn selected DMS to provide software and application development. Using Flash, Java, C++, XML, and multiple Oracle 8i databases, DMS assisted BAH in the development of the Distributed Training Technology Project, now used by thousands of our national guard personnel to keep themselves ready and prepared when called to perform national defense services.
